These are 2 rough itineraries for a 8 day and 13 day trip.

8 day Itinerary/Arrival & Departure Info

Day 1. Tuesday 16^th September

Depart London (Afternoon).

Day 2. Wednesday 17^th September.

Arrive Lima

Catch internal flight to Iquitos.

Sleep in 5 star hotel $90 for room 2 sharing (usual price $240).

Day 3. Thursday 18th.

7.30 a.m. Buses with raft crews leave for Nauta.

7:30 a.m. All teams leave by bus for the 2 hour drive to Nauta where there will be a civic reception at
11.00 a.m. in the Plaza de Armas.
1:00 p.m. All competitors cross the river by boat to Isla de Pescadores (Fisherman’s Island)
2:00 p.m Each team constructs their own raft with local help if required.
7:00 p.m Fiesta with music and dancing on the beach.
Sleep overnight on the beach in tents provided by the Nauta City Council.Day 4. Friday 19th September.
7:00 a.m. Breakfast (provided)
9:00 a.m. Mass start from the beach to the isolated village of Porvenir a distance of 43 miles (average time 6.00 hours).
6:00 p.m. Dinner (provided). All participants sleep in the school and village hall on mattresses (provided).Day 5. Saturday 20st September.
6:30 a.m. Breakfast (provided)
The slowest crews on the first day will leave Porvenir at 7.30 a.m. All teams will leave over the next 2 hours, with the fastest teams leaving at 9.30 a.m.
This 2nd leg is to the town of Tamshiyacu, a distance of 45 miles ( average time of 6.30 hours).
6.00 p.m. Dinner (provided).
8.00 p.m. Grand Fiesta .
All participants will sleep in the school on mattresses (provided).

Day 6. Sunday 21st September.
6:30 a.m. Breakfast (provided).
Again, the slowest teams will leave at 7.30 a.m. with others following over the next 2 hours. This final leg is from Tamshiyacu to the Fishing Club at Bella Vista Nanay, just outside the City of Iquitos, at a distance of 42 miles (average time 5.30 hours). Party and Prize ceremony will follow the finish at the Fishing Club. Rafters Party at the Amazon Café at 8.30 p.m.

Day 7. Monday 22^nd September

Extra nights stay in Iquitos at 5 star hotel.

Day 8. Tuesday 23^rd September

7.30am Flight to Lima (AM)

Connecting flight back to UK (Evening)

Day 9. Wednesday 24^th September

Arrive back in UK.
